Meeting new women...

So... I received a message from C today... mind you, we've been emailing each other a few times, talking about what our daily plans are, trying to sync up for a possible date...

Message from yesterday read:

"Sorry about that, I did see your number and then I guess I spaced on calling, it wasn't intentional!! :)
Hope your dinner went well last night. Yes, please let me know if you head out tonight after the game. Though it sounds like you might be a few drinks ahead of me, so if that is the case, I'll have to make sure I have a couple beforehand!
Work has been kicking my butt this week, but I wanted to say hi. My cell is 4xx.2xx.9xxx, so hopefully we can meet up either tonight or later on this week.

hrm... 4xx area code... Cali pre-fix. I like Cali girls. :) Little bit of attitude, little bit of maintenance, but can be superficial at times. Hopefully this one is a bit more balanced. I mean, she did move up here to Portland, right?

Did I call as I said I would if I had her number? No. Granted, I was there with another girl (LF), almost ran into a different one (SR) at the game that would have lead to cataclysmic repercussions, but didn't... did I need to chance throwing a 3rd in the mix on the same night? I think not.

So she sent me a message again today:

"Hi Brent- I hope you had a good time last night. If you are still interested in meeting up somewhere down the line, let me know!!
My department is off for a Booze Cruise right now. Pretty funny. It'll be a great early start to the weekend!

'Down the line...' Sounds like the words of one who's beginning to give up on meeting with me.... Not a good sign, I mean, she could be 'the one', right?

So I just left her a voicemail a little bit ago; she bumped my call to voicemail... makes sense though if she's partaking on social activities with her work. I don't blame her at all.

Hopefully she'll call me back. The concert starts at 9pm... Bone doesn't get on until probably 10... over by what, 11-11:30-12?

I'll be there with some guy friends of mine though.... And one of the guys was with me when I was hanging out with LF... Then again, he's been around when I've been hanging out with SR, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any ill will towards my actions...

We'll see what goes down tonight... Hopefully she'll call, at least her picture looked pretty good on her profile...
